Buyers confidence in the Boatworks community as a desirable alternative to condos and single family houses is steadily increasing judging from year to date sales in the area.
From January to date there has been a 25% increase in homes sales in Boatworks compared to the same time last year. From January to August this year 12 townhouses changed owners, compared to 9 from January to August 2017
There was also an 8% increase in prices January to present over the same time last year. The average sold price so far this year is $386,000 compared to $358,766 a year ago.
The time spent on the market from listing date to contract has decreased significantly. In 2017 the average days on the market was 104. From January to August 2018 the average days on the market has dropped to 55.
